722.9 PROGRAMMING
Hello everyone...... I have a 2006 C230 203.052. Recently I rebuilt my 722.9 transmission completely. I happened to have a good conductor plate from a 2012 CLS63. It is a VGS3-NAG2 made by continental. I virginized it using AVDI and tried to program and code it to my 203 using Xentry/Das. I am running into an issue where, it will not let me do scn coding, personalizing or activation. The problem is that the online system says that there is no newer software update available. The program that is installed right now is for a cls63 and I have tried everything to get it to install the correct program. Any one has any suggestions? I almost to the point where I have had enough and will install a new/reman one from the dealer. Any help is greatly appreciated.

RE: 722.9 PROGRAMMING
I have done many VGS3-NAG2 Continental conductor plates..... I virginize them and then program them with Xentry. But this one is the only one that has given me problems. So I personalized and activated using AVDI. But I can not change the programming. I know the programming is incorrect because I have codes for wet start up clutch solenoid..... which my transmission does not have and the CL63 does have.

There s no problem here when you get message saying there s no newer software update available it means the virginized control unit is already up-to date, here when you get this message do not abort just press continue the second step will take you to SCN coding and after that you will get personalisation and transport protection removal option

If I have helped you please do not forget Thanks + Reputation 41

I second this. Doesnt the AMG have the wet clutch setup. Also "No newer software found" can mean that the hardware is not compatible with the VIN you are submitting.
