Disabling EGR on CDI

Mercedes Benz Disabling EGR on CDI
Hi Everybody,

Another question:i ve nothing against DPF or CAT BUT i really don't like EGR. Exhaust gas should not be used as fresh air for an engine :o)
I would like if it is possible to disable EGR without removing the system. Can someone tell how, or explain or share?

Any advice would be appreciate ;o)

you can disable egr from ecu software.for this you need to read ecu first then mod file and write back.

just asking as you also can disable by software DPF, but I don't think it makes sense to disable it without any hardware modification.

I can remove the system but every two years here in France, each car has to be controlled by a special technical center and the car has to be like a stock one. My dad on his van ,he uses it to go to carry stuff, so he removed his back seat (removable) . He had to put back the back seat (a lot of back word) to get the agreement.
400 check points on each car now. It s crazy.

True some here in Belgium but still, what's the point of disabling something if you still require modification. Ok, if you are willing to do the modification, you can adjust on the w212 without any problem with vediamo. But I'm not sure if it is require to do the hardware modification or not for dpf and / or egr.
Maybe someone who is more skilled on automotive technologies than me can answer this...
