Reading is easy, writing less km than in the original dump is more difficult...Must have a special M35080 programmer or - the easyest way - a brand new M35080 which you can write whatever km you want in it.

The M35080 is a special prom ( almost like a " mini " MCU... ) which doesn`t allow you to decrement the value wriiten in the storing km registers can be read with X-prog but writing less km, no.

i did several times on BMW dashboard, read m35080 and save it, change km with licnick or with other and write to the m35080, but first you have to erase eeprom and then program it.

I use M35080 Eraser/Programmer - all version,work on board programming for V3 too
