After replacement you need to code one or more ECUs that you do not have automatic.

Vediamo is able to do this.
Maybe xentry as well, but I'm not sure

At 211 no need for Vediamo, Xentry is also not available on 211 Wink DAS Developer is the tool to use. Remove Airmatic at CGW

Hi,

I've never done anything like this, so I don't have any equipment, wouldn't it be cheaper to just go to a mercedes dealer and let them reassign the airmatic? is that something they would or know how to do?

HAHA! Probably, but i'll just tell them to go suck a bag of dicks, but honestly there's always a GUY that works at mercedes and does a few odd jobs on the side... I'm hoping.

Maybe it would be easier if you would search here at the froum for somebody near you who has the equipment and does the coding in DAS or Vediamo for you.

Where are you from?

Thanks for correcting me.
By saying Xentry I meant DAS.

RE: W211 e320cdi Airmatic removal software/bypass?
The tool I use is at my shop is a Autel Maxidas DS708 It goes into the airmatic module and has lots

of functions but nothing like disabling the airmatic itself..

I was hoping for some software that I could connect to the airmatic module using a regular laptop

and a cable connector, I wouldn't want to invest in all this equipment just for this one time thing.

Do you speak from experience of having done that already?

Isn't that just another diagnostic tool like the Autel DS708 i have?
