RE: XProg 5.5.1 software + atmega flash
Possible that i try not orignal file. And changed security block in proc? Because i hear that this procesors writing one time in factory?

Update. First times i powered up unit from car battery.
Then i powered it from new dc power supply (come today from ebay).
Set up vdc for 13,5V and it writes good without verify error.

Well, I flashed mine using Khazama three times and still get the 'This program version requires to update the XPROG firmware' prompt when going into Help > Hardware info. Any ideas other than getting a new ATmega64 chip? Someone mentioned using HEX files prepared by PhilipM but his links have since expired Sad

(Device was originally a v5.5.5 Chinese clone with ATmega64A that I am downgrading for stability.)

EDIT: solved with avrdude! Perhaps one of the boot lock bits, BLB01, should be set but is not on the Khazama screenshot provided by narkeleptk? This is the only meaningful change vs the instructions (aside from the program). Anyway, here is the exact command I used:

Code:
avrdude -c USBasp -p m64 -e -U flash:w:flash.bin -U eeprom:w:eeprom.bin -U lfuse:w:0x2F:m -U hfuse:w:0xCA:m -U efuse:w:0xFF:m -U lock:w:0x3C:m

solved Smile this is mod file for beeprog... flash+eeprom in 1 file...problem was with eeprom location in memory map...Flash array is located in buffer from 0h to FFFFh.
EEPROM array is located in buffer from 10000h to 107FFh.

load this file and program eep+flash and then proggram fuse and lock
