2006 dodge sprinter start error recommendations

hello, i have a 2006 sprinter, need suggestions, sent my ecm to a ecm repair place was told ecm was no good and to order a new one on ebay and i sent it to the guy he reporgrammed it with my original ecm data, and when it got back to me, fans were on high so that ecm also turned out bad, now im being told to either order a 400$ plug and play kit or find another solution. really need this van working, any suggestions where i can find a new ecm? was also told they were remanufactoring ecms in china and to get them cheap !
