2007 Golf dash miles change

Hey, mates, I'm working on this 2007 Golf 5, trying to change miles, I desoldered the EEPROM, read it and write the new miles, but the miles actually don't change, Do I need to change miles in another module like BCM beside the Cluster, please help I tried OBD II but didn't work.

2007 is dash only as far as im aware. what tool you using for obd
