It's far from baseless if you, after nearly a month, refunded the man. Given your behavior on this site and others, you don't strike anyone as the giving type unless the spotlight has been shone upon you.
If you sent your payment by Paypal and not satisfy with his product, Tell him that you would like to get money back. Or open depute in Paypal to get your money back.
