Dear nbfour follow this link to download in a single 7z file MD5 (ICOMP.7z) = 6444fdea35eb311fb431131734d57d68
ICOM-ManufactureImage-02-08-01-Change.log
ICOM-ManufactureImage-02-08-01.zip
ICOM-P_technical_introduction_and_configuration.pdf
ICOMP-Tools.exe
ICOM_Restore.bin (ICOM P Specific version)
IcomPConfiguration.exe
You will need 7zip to unzip it http://www.7-zip.org

1° Restore your ICOM P whit ICOM_Restore.bin
2° Update in first ICOM-BootManufactureImage-02-04-00.bin then ICOM-ApplicationManufactureImage-02-08-01.bin

Hope this help.

Connect your icom to your car, then connect your ICOM to your laptop, then launch Itool Radar note the IP address of your Icom. In ISTA select identification and put your Icom ip.

How to add Mini PCI Type III 124 pins Socket ?

Card on

Thank you for guide, very useful!

Your unit is standard ICOM A, but same is for newer A2 clones, some of them have already soldered header for MINI PCIE card.

What firmware version you have used after this wifi upgrade?

Indeed most of ICOM A2 clones already have the mini PCI slot soldered in this case you just need to add the wifi card.

I'm using last 3.10.44 Firmware with this "cheap" wifi card based on Atheros 9160 chipset with those antennas.

As you can see on the screenshots below it's work

Hello Seb530da,
After download a file, i restore and update ICOM P, now it works all led in green, but unfortunately does not connect to rheingold nor ista p, i think like you said it's not for dealer program it's very complicated to use with our program.
Thanks very very much for you help, and thanks to all mhh auto members.
