BMW mevd 17 crackle/Schubblubbern function

Hello everybody!


Do someone could activate the crackle function on a mevd17?
See this function on every mevd17 and do many test on a mevd17 from a bmw n55 f10, with comparing to m4 etc, but cant get it activated!


Please dont offer any manual solution with modified fuelcut/ignition, need to get the intergrated function working!

every mevd17.7 got the function: mdvmz!


This function let you fully adjust the crackling/Pops and bangs by lengt, on which mode, up to which speed, and the rpm range. The M4 and M2 got this activated. But there seems to be a special codewort, which was difficult in every file i compare M2/M4/alpina.

Where are the bmw experts?

Still cant get it working.

But i know that the n55/n54 flasher à la mhd/bootmod3 mod it this way. Do someone maybee got a readout?

The next thing i will look at, is the coding. Maybee there is also a value for this.

The sound optimerung function has several configuration bytes near the start and stop area and if it is adjusted correctly you can have this function on different modes.

There are several older software versions though that had a lot of differences from the newest software updates or versions. Using an a2l you can found several "Sound" labels that will help but will not completely solve your problem unless you know what conditions need to be set and what bytes.

The solution is in some original software versions that is already working as you need but without excessive sound.
