Bi-directional on a budget?

1
Hi all,

What is the cheapest way to get a bi-directional scan tool? I'm not allowed to take the Bosch KTS and Snap-On home from work, so I'd just like something for the odd job at home.

I've seen the Launch X431's on Facebook cheap..? Easydiag OBD tools also which sync with your Android phone.

I own a laptop if there is a good interface available.

Any help would be great - I just don't have the funds to spend £1000 (or even half that to be honest) on something that won't get much use.

Thank you.
