CPC to DRVU flash

Hello,

I puchased a DRVU kit from a seller on AliBaba to retrofit and he sent me a CPC unit instead but that was months ago so he’s not willing to exchange. CPC PN: 0009016202. I know this same PN is used on DRVU as well because the module is the same. 

Does anyone know if it can be flashed from CPC to DRVU? I connected it to the CPC wiring and made connection in DTS with CPC_NG.smr-d but when I go flash programming and add DRVU temp flash data, it makes noise and doesn’t add. 

I did try to add CPC flash files and it took those.

0009016202 can be flashed with proper SW, depending on your VIN to become DRVU

Hi,

I went ahead and just purchased a E63s DRVU_NG which I found relatively cheap. I installed the module and the car is now 100% with no errors in DTS on any module. I am however now having an issue with Xentry 12/2023 not wanting to read the car after identification. I’m not sure if the issue is related to the module change or Xentry support?

What diagnostic equipment are you using? Typically, this error code indicates a configuration issue.

I’m using sdconnect clone, I’ve been using Xentry with no issues for years and I know it worked last time I was trying to figure out the module last Saturday. DTS has no issues scanning which makes me think is an Xentry issue but nothing has changed with my installation in the last week.
