Hey guys just looking for any pointers for these transmissions, I personally don't ever really have a problem working on them but I know I don't know everything about them. Had a coworker do a split pin bushing repair that has turned into pulling the transmission multiple times and so far it hasn't been fixed, first the harness somehow got pulled out of the top connector to the tcm, second time the split pin plunger was broken, third time found a plastic airline fitting going to the shift actuator broken inside, I personally just did two split pin repairs with no issues, so is there any tips mainly with getting the transmission to pass a learn procedure, I thought I have read that rolling the truck, obviously not far but enough to I guess unlock or help the learn procedure, can anybody say if this is true or not? I am aware that you dont have to do a transmission learn procedure unless the tcm is replaced, any tips, tricks, extra info is much appreciated, and for all wondering the fault my coworker kept going was transmission actuator distance error
