read the BIN file using R270 . Change VIN on both eeproms 160d0 and 95320 . u can use VVDI XProg for editing aswell... If mileage in the donor cluster is lower than car`s mileage , u don`t need to change first 2 lines , changing the vin is enough . then code the cluster to the car with esys . add 6WB on FA, calculate SWT, TAL, and update the cluster software . that will do the job .

Has anyone figured out how to modify the MCU ID as from what I understand the MCU keeps a copy of the chip serial # and you can't swap out the eeprom from one cluster to another, for example the BMW 6WB. I was hoping someone made a programmer to edit the MCU so we could change the chip ID and use other chips. I don't know exaxtly which MCU is being used on the cluster and need to do more research but there are a lot of smart people on this site so thought I would ask first. thanks.

The new 2016+ with 35160D0WT Cannot be renewed till now, the only way to adjust the mileage is to read and save the eeprom dump, replace the eeprom with new one, write the original dump to the new eeprom and program it, you can find new eeprom in the market, i did it with success, no need to install an emulator.
