my engine seam to have a speed limiter set at 140 kph but it should be set at 165 kph. When I try to go over that speed RPM and speed stops 3000rpm/140 kph. This is a used car and my dealer ensures me that the ECU was not reprogramed and seup on lower speed limit. They think that maybe it is a malfunction but i don't think so becuse everything else seams OK forn now.
I have bought a car few weaks ago and it was a fleet car in one company so I think they reprogramed ECU or instaled limiter.
How can I check this? Maybe using DELPHI 150DS or something else also my car displays MPH on digital dashboard instead KPH. Can I change this?
If anyone has some interesting info. or links regarding this model of FABIA COMBI please post.
