Error HWID

Turn off, widows antivirus, defender, and run HWID with admin rights.

Try restarting and running as admin, if issue continues check your comp info out, there is a missing field that's causing that error from the PCS I've seen have this issue.

Delete.

I agree with MackHack... delete the HWID.EXE and downloadExtract the HWID again. 

I've seen where the HWID contracted a virus and would not function. Delete it and extract again from the original archive you were supplied with and it should work.

First, make sure you are using a normal laptop with readable BIOS and motherboard serial numbers. Then use WMIC to verify that these serial numbers can actually be retrieved.
