Hi guys, so for the boards with 2 resistors around the pads, we don't connect the reset wire to the st-link right? We just pull it low to ground and disconnect once connection is successful right?

I used a piece of old cable with a micro USB connector, and no soldering was required. The repair was a success.

Hi everyone, I also have a Scanmatik J2534 pro+ clone and I want to update to version 2.21.32.
I see there are two applications, 4.6.0 and 3.4.0, which version is the most suitable ?
Thank you all.

just a quick update on reversing this.
There is a serial blacklist inside the dll.
the firmware blob is inside the dll and extractable/decryptable
the biggest roadblock is figuring out where the serial validation/checksum happens. i have some suspicion but still trying to figure out the algorithm and reversing it.
The endgoals would be to create a firmware blob extractor, and serial generator, so we can generate our own flashable firmware from any dll with a valid serial.

Does anyone know if this firmware can be flashed to stm32f373vct6 controller on sm2 pro clone.
