From Delphi DS150 switch to what other diag tool?

1
Hi!
I use the Delphi DS150 general purpose diag tool for many years.
I really happy with this tool and I use it almost every day.
I also have generic tools for the cars, but this one is my favorite diag tool for quick
reading and testing the actuators...

So, by the time, I realizing does I have to switch to another newer tool, cos the time and car models are running out of my spec.

What would be a great diag tool which is a bidirectional diag tool and somehow like the Delphi DS150?

What tool would you prefer to buy to retire my Delphi diag?
Of course I mean in a reasonable price range also like the Delphi was a a bit higher.

Thank you for any help and info.
My best regards.

You’ve been using it for years, and saying you’re really satisfied with it.

Why not invest in a genuine this time?

Cos I'm not sure does it worth the money of the original tool.
I use this tool as a general purpose tool just to read, delete dtc's and the use of actuator test is a great option.
It is a bidirectional tool and the most of the generic purpose tools are just for handling dtc's and maybe to represent live data.

Beside of Delphi I use specific tools like VCDS, Lexia, OP-Com etc.

As I wrote, Delphi is just a tool which I use for fast digging out the dtc's, activating the actuators and watching for live data.

Delphi covers many type of cars, works stable and is fast to start and working with and another good think for me is the logging of the datas.
I can easy print out the reading results or save to pdf.

But, the downside of this tool is, it can not do special coding and setups.
That's the reason why I have specialised tools beside Delphi.

Hi Chris, it is a little bit difficult to find a tool that covers your needs in less than 1000 euro. I mean a good oem tool like launch or autel. The other tools are very similar to delphi, I think you better have a look in launch and autel.

Good luck mate.
If You got the solution please report back and let others know, this is how forum works.

EasyDiag & Golo ... are all genuine products from Launch. You can buy the interface in
the selling section and from there, an one time activation or 1 year subscription for updates.

How it works you can see here:

The good thing is, its Android (works for Apple IOS too, but better off with Android) based,
so it works on almost all tablets and mobiles.

I know the DS 150 but prefere the EasyDiag, bc it has at least twice the scan deepth.

IMHO its the best quick scan tool on the market, but its only my opinion Smile .
