GDS2 engine diagnostic config REQUEST REJECTED

1
I installed a new engine control module in my water damaged 2022 GMC Sierra.

Programmed it seeminly OK (almost programmed, keyless go module, replaced keys, + programmed a few other modules)

It diagnoses it OK but whenever I go to perform any addional functions for example crankshaft position relearn or program fuel injector calibrations, it come up with the folowing message

REQUEST REJECTED  by ENGINE CONTROL MODULE  I have not only it with GDS

does anyone have any ideas of how to solve this please? Or can anyone tell me if the ECM uses different communication network to change parameters than it does to do the original programming. I figure it may well do as the programming works fine, but any of the DISPLAY DATA or other config fuctions within GDS2 always come up with the REQUEST REJECTED message

thanks in advance

Hmm, very strange. Going to assume that the new ecm is paired to the immobilizer, and the VIN has been changed vin replace and reprogram?

Yes EMC paired plus I did the replace and reprogram procedure, all seemed to work fine.

Am stumped
