GM TLC software installation

1
I am trying to install GM TLC TechLine Connect programing software on my WIN10 but I got error messages such as TIU100 – Update Manager Install failed at first time, I tried again and I got PU101-1 Process was not ran successfully after trying so many different ways of installing and uninstalling I finally got stuck with UEH101- NULL. I have tried other computer as well. I paid by VIN# slot with ACDelco and I tried to get a hold with customer service over there!
Does anyone know how to get around this problem?
I’d really appreciate your help for a desperate guy!

Sometimes the only way to fix it is to uninstall what you have and go through and delete all folders then install an older version then go online and try to login and let it update that way.
Other times you just need to go infto the "C:\ProgramData\TechlineConnect\TUM\ArchivedDownloads" folder and unzip each folders files and install them one by one and then go back online.
Either way you are not going to get in until the software is working 100%
If you have ever given me a Negative or Neutral reputation then do not ask me for help or passwords as you will be ignored!

Hello! I did what you suggested. . . to uninstall, deleted all folders, C:\Program Files\TechlineConnect and everything related to GM and Techline! Restarting the computer but I got the same error message UEH101: Null (what does it mean?).
I haven’t found any Zip files in my computer relating to the program to try to install manually! The problem could be over there with GM website communications.
So, what does it take to get this software installed properly in a windows computer? anyone?
Tks,

Tks,

You said you tried everything but did you install an older version first and let it upgrade from there?
Here is an older version so delete what you have and download this and install and then login and let it update.
Use a good browser like Brave or Firefox as well as I have less issues with those then any other.

Hey, sorry for getting back to you just now, I just want to thank you for your time and effort trying to help me solve this issue. The second approach of installing an old software version didn’t work out either! But I bought a new computer with WIN 10 professional and the software installation through GM website without anything else went smoothly without any problem. I tried it before with another used computer and it didn’t work too just with this new one!
Tks again,
Sergio

Sometimes a format and a clean install or in your case a new computer is the only way it will work.
Do keep logging in and keep it updated or you might find you have problems if you leave it to long between updates.
I try to login at least once a fortnight on the least used laptop I have it on.

You need the TLC online subscription which is locked to specific laptop.

Might pay to read the entire thread in future he solved the problem! You are a bit late to the party.
And no it is not locked to a specific laptop I use my subscription on 2 different laptops and a full case computer so you are wrong there.
