I've been googling.. I could possibly help you with tech2win, but I don't think that a nexiq link can connect with tech2win.. The OBDII cord you mentioned goes with the nexiq clone, correct? it's not something else?

What kind of OBD cord do I need? just a USB to OBDII? i'll see if I have that, I would appreciate any help, tech2win would be awesome, I'm just about done with the rebuild and install

Yes, if i have a obd2 cord to usb it would be with whatever came with my nexiq package

To use Tech2win and GDS2 you need
GM MDI
MongoosePro GM 2
AVDI Abrites.
This one I tested.
Maybe VXDIAG VCX Nano but never used and I don't think that will work as it should.
Good luck
