[font="mhh font", calibri, sans-serif]I have a 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 with the Duramax diesel. I want to add the Fast Idle function. It requires a trip to the dealer, a new VCI built by GM and uploaded to my truck by the dealer. I went to a local (Fort Worth, TX) dealer and they had my truck for 2 days but were unsuccessful in programming my truck. Fortunately the did not charge me.[/font]

GM Dealers can acquire a new Vehicle Configuration Index (VCI) by contacting Techline Customer Support Center (TCSC). A support center consultant will create the new VCI with UF3 option as part of the vehicle option content. NOTE: Following the reprogramming of the ECM, a secondary Set Up procedure most be performed as well to fully activate the feature.[/font]
