Hello everyone, I need help with my ECU I think. I have a peugeot 407 with a crankshaft sensor error and there is no communication with it and I put it back.

And how do you know you have a crankshaft sensor error if you can't communicate with the engine ECM?

Then it's a digital sensor, hall-effect, that produces a digital square wave signal which the ECM reads to know the speed and position of the crankshaft in the engine at all times.

Your three wires are:  - Reference Voltage (can be 5VDC or 12VDC).
                                - Ground.
                                - Square wave signal for the ECM computer.

The first two you can measure them with a regular multimeter in VDC position.
For the signal wire, you need to test it with an osciloscope meter, to check the value and integrity of the digital signal, and the most important, that it reaches the corresponding pin on the connector input of the ECM. It can be from 0 to 12VDC or 0 to 5 VDC square wave signal.

This way you will know if the problem is in the CKP sensor itself, in the wiring harness (cut wire or shorted wire to ground or power), or is the ECM that is bad.
