Help!! Dd13 no start

Customer bought a 2010 freightliner with a bad engine brought it to us and we rebuilt it truck started and pulled it out of shop customer came to pick up and truck will crank but wont start checked codes and only code is "mcm system id not received or stopped arriving" sid 248 fmi 9
I checked connections at ecm and battery box everything looks okay how do i fix im using cracked version of dddl8.13 if that helps

Seems like a datalink issue. Are all modules responding and turned on? Might want to try the old disconnect all battery power and reconnect after 10 minutes. Then I'd dig into powers, grounds and data links.

Just like windowrattler said .  You said you checked connections , Make sure you test power ,Grounds & data lines . do drag test on on connectors to make sure they are tight ( could be just loose pin ) Especially when cold . Very easy to over look .

U lost power 
Check the MCM fuse in the box under the hood there is nothing in battery box

I think it could be a fuse
