Help Needed: Opcom Data Analysis for Fuel Economy Mode and Voltage

1
Hi everyone,
I hope you're doing well! 😊

I recently used my Opcom tool to scan my Opel Astra J 1.7 CDTI 2011 and would appreciate some help in analyzing the results. I’ve attached pictures of the diagnostic data and am particularly concerned about the Fuel Economy Mode Inhibited message and the voltage readings.

Details of the Situation:
  • The car seems to be running fine, but I’m noticing the "Fuel Economy Mode Inhibited - Low Charging Voltage" warning and would like to better understand what’s causing it.
  • I’ve measured the voltage during idle and under load, and I’m trying to determine if the alternator or charging system is functioning properly.
  • Also, my car doesn’t seem to be in economy mode, and in city driving, it’s consuming about 10–11L/100 km of fuel, which seems higher than expected.

I’ve included the Opcom scan pictures showing the warning and voltage details. If you need any additional data or clarification, feel free to ask!

Questions I’m Looking to Answer:

  1. What could be causing the "Fuel Economy Mode Inhibited" warning?
  2. Are the voltage readings normal, or could there be an issue with the alternator or charging system?
  3. Why is the fuel consumption higher than expected (10-11L in city driving)?
  4. Any recommendations on what to check or test next?
I appreciate your help and insights as I troubleshoot these issues. Thanks in advance for your time!
