Hobbyist diagnostic scanner with actuator test

1
I'm just an amature, hobbyist if you will, but I'm tired of all the old software and am thinking about a universal diagnostic scanner that will also do actuator test, service resets, calibrations etc. for most common european cars.

I have now Alfa Romeo (2015) Volvo V40 (2014), Hyundai (2016), but also Fiat Punto (2008) and VW Golf IV 2002.
Volvo DICE does not support everything, MultiECUscan also does not do everything.

What is a good piece of hardware that will support early OBDII till 2020 cars for best value?

It is still hobby and do not even have a garage, so it must be affordable.

Thanks!

An Autocom DS150 should cover it all nowadays.

Isn't that a yearly subscription?

Yes but only of you buy original. A clone for year 2016 is for a tenth of its price while your cars will stay covered forever. They won't get ever younger bro ...
Worth for the price and for a hobby intentions really good.

I have a clone DS150e, The EDC17C69 (AR Giulietta) is not supported.
Also the Volvo has only generic OBDII access.
When I connect with the volvo (right engine, T14, which is listed in autocom) it gives an error and uses generic.

So this is not working.
I also have VIDA 2014D, but also there many unknown DTC's.
It's also complicated to use and one system for newer cars would be better.

I downloaded the latest "2017 final" autocom but still the same issues.

A one time purchase of a tool with vehicles to 2019 or 2020 would be good enough for a long time and I can be sure they are all supported and I can perform advanced functions.
