Looking for a Suzuki Immobiliser USB Dongle

1
Hi all,

I've got a 2016 Suzuki Alto Works. It's a JDM car that I imported to Ireland. The car is working perfectly, however I purchased a remapped ECU from Japan that I would like to install. The car will not start with the new ECU. My understanding is that I will need to register it with the immobiliser (or something like that).

I recently purchased a VCM2 and used this guide to install Suzuki Diagnostics Tool (SDT-II). I have been able to connect to the ECU & BCM, however the Immobiliser Application in SDT-II is unavailable and greyed out. From what I've read, you need a USB Dongle in order to access these functions - I believe the part number is F-00K-108-870.

If you can assist with providing the USB for me to purchase, I would very much appreciate your help  Tup

Hi
There is no need to use the original diagnostic tool.
Immobilizer diagnostics alone can be done with other diagnostic tools.
If you can find what's written in the URL of the text file, I think that's the cheapest tool.
The condition is that the Suzuki section includes a JDM category, and within that, there must be a TYPE7 model.

1. That looks like a discontinued product (X100D) as it's no longer on the XTOOL website?
2. How would I find out if it includes the JDM category? and what is TYPE7?
3. I can see it does key programming, but is that enough to get the car to start with the new ECU?

When I look at the XTOOL website, there seems to be lots of their products that support Key Programming (Immo Reset), ECU Coding, ECU Programming, etc. However I have no clue which of these features I need to register the new ECU with the immobiliser?

I'm still exploring all of my options, and I'm not convinced any XTOOL product can do ECU reprogramming to allow the replacement of the ECU.
So I'm still hunting for a USB dongle that will allow Suzuki SDT-II to access the reprogramming & immobilizer features. If anyone has one for sale, please get in touch.
Thanks!

I have SDT II Interface, but you need usb immo stick, i had one but i must go to one day to importer learn to work with the stick.
I dont have it anymore but now i use obdstar x300pro for keys. when you have a stick you also must have connection with suzuki server.
i think its useless, i had it but never use it.

Thanks for the information. I'm waiting on a response from XTOOL support to see if they sell any model that will solve the issue.
