Ktag protocols

Does anyone have an idea what it will cost me to update my Infineon tricore protocols to include the newest ones? I have an original master tool but did not renew my subscription.

youll have to update to their new kessv3 platform, youll be paying a little extra since its outdated now but its not gonna completely break the bank

I also have an genuine Ktag. Unfortunately i bought it right before they discontinued it. I have only tricore protocols. I would like to buy the BDM option for EDC16 MED9 etc. but not possible anymore. Kess3 is much too expensive subcription...

I agree, Kess3 is much too expensive. I barely paid for my Ktag so Kess3 is not an option. I definitely don't want to pay for another tool that will be obseleted by the MFG. I went with an original tool because I wanted the reliability of a genuine unit but now it isn't much good at all. I am wondering if protocols could be added manually.
