just enter the right vin in odis manually, or disconnect both ecu's on startup. then odis will use the right vin from the original BCM and you should be able to adapt them.
if that fails, i depends on the tools you have for what the next step is. the immo system is like A6/7/8, not too complicated for offline solutions.

I will give this a try. And see if I can get odis to recognize the actual correct vin

So I ended up going the immo off route and manually changing the vin in the eeprom file. The vehicle fired up right away! So it looks like we are in bussiness hopefully I can use odis to adapt the rest of the fried modules.
