Linde diagnostic

Hi, could you tell me, what is used to diagnose new linde trucks? What type of software and what device ?

Linde Pathfinder program and CanBox 1 or 2 device

For newer Linde Forklifts (2016 and up) old type canbox 1 is not recommended, especially RS232 version.

Also STAY AWAY from chinese made clones of canbox1, those will not allow firmware updates which are required for 2012 and up forklifts.

There is also addtional cables for engine diagnostic (VW diesel and LPG) which are also RS232 connection type, so COM port or good USB/COM adapter are must.

Also, for older electric types, RS232 TruckDoctor cable is required.

Hi, I have original CANbox 1 (serial) and canbox 3 (updated) versions, and both work correctly even on 2023 machines (in the case of CANbox 1, the machines I've connected to simply tell me that the software version is higher than the controller version and asks if I want to continue using it). The biggest problem is that there are not new SB for Pathfinder, and it becomes obsolete.

We need to look for newer options for newer machines.

ORIGINAL canbox1 can be updated to match new forklifts, but as I said "STAY AWAY from SHINESE clones of Canbox 1, those cannot be updated for new forklifts"

BTW is there any chance for acquiring new pathfinder SB or it is just fly online?

ORIGINAL canbox1 can be updated to match new forklifts, but as I said "STAY AWAY from SHINESE clones of Canbox 1, those cannot be updated for new forklifts"

BTW is there any chance for acquiring new pathfinder SB or it is just fly online?
