MB 7G.SCN coding from VIN

1
Hi All,

I can extract you the original SCN code for VGSNAG2 (7G-tronic) transmissions using the vehicle VIN number directly from the Daimler database.

Just post the VIN number and don't forget to give thanks and reputation.

Yes. In VPD data VPD ID 20002 has the variant coding. First 4 characters show program status. Last 4 is the variant coding.

So far it is working on all cars that I have tested. I haven't seen any differences between the cars and VPD data.
