Mokka 2015 OP-COM issue

Hi,

I have a 2015 Mokka that I am trying to diagnose, unfortunately all I get with 161001a Advanced and 181022a Professionial is the access to the Fault Codes.
Measuring Blocks and Output Tests are greyed out, no programming like in the 110530a version, where I had no problems with airbags etc.

I don't know if the issue is with the software itself, or do I need to get another clone, or just switch to GDS2 (J2534)?

The interface is a good PIC18F458 clone, with firmware 1.64, updated by the software to 1.65.

go for gds2 if you do many opels/vauxhalls
if you need good cable pm me i got one for sale not cheap and not clone

<2012 - OPCOM
>2014 - GDS2

So the best solution will be to use:
<2012 - OPCOM
>2014 - GDS2

Is it normal to have only Fault Codes access after 2012?

global A cars yes as your opcom software is possibly too old
gds2 will be good for them
for programming you need gm sps (up to 2012 can use globaltis v32) after only online because gds2 doesnt do programming

If your ecu in A14NET then even latest OP-COM Prof version 210420b EN/DE has only this buttons active:
Read/Erase DTC
Programming

The other ECU in Mokka 2015 has also Messuring Blocks

But as a tips: If you want to see Mesuring blocks in Mokka 2015 A14NET try to connect by Astra J A14NET

To add a new key if you already has the answare. You need online Tis2web with SPS Programming subscription and if I remember well you need carpass ( pin code ) too.
You will need minimum GM  MDI or a good J2534/passthru interface
GDS2 will not help you to do this job.

P.S. - by the way OP-COM Prof 181022a EN will upgrade your interface firmware to fw1.67 automatically.
