Remap figures API

1
Hi everyone

I’m putting together a remap figure database with standard, stage 1, stage 2 and eco map figures, as seen on some of the big name websites.
In time I may add ecu type but my original idea was for this to be more customer facing so it may be unnecessary.

I was hoping to give access to this for free but after consulting with my web host i’m probably going to have to upgrade my hosting to allow access via an API. I still want to make this available for everyone so will make it as affordable as possible (I’ve seen a few people asking €1000/year...yea, sod that!)

So, how does a rolling monthly subscription for £14.99 sound?

It won’t be an instant thing. I started yesterday and i’ve got as far as BMW 1 series. It’s pretty painful to be honest!

Ideas appreciated or if there’s already a decent service please let me know. I’ve just bought a new keyboard for my Mac and at the rate I’m going the cmd c and v keys will be toast in no time Big Grin

I’ve now finished both the database using MySQL and implementation using php.
The entire database is loaded with a call to a single php file. This also works in Wordpress using php_everywhere which makes it really easy.

Give it a try:

I’m currently working on the http API using calls to a rest plugin on my website. I have the basics in place, I just need to work out how to swap out the local mysqli queries in the php file with Ajax calls to a remote database with some means of authentication.

I’d welcome any help anyone would like to give.

Anyway, let me know if you find anything that doesn’t work or have any suggestions.
