I would like to ask for help. In my workshop I have a non starter Astra H with 1.6, 77kW Z16XEP engine. The diagnostis shows P1600 error. As it is very cold these days the car does not want to crank. At ignition on there is no engine light in the dash. I tried a "weird" trick...I used a hot air gun, pointed it at ECU, heated it and the car cranks and runs. I would like to ask members if ECU with error P1600 is repairable or not? I have read a few posts about genuine coilpacks or bad grounds, but I think this is not the case here.
