Opel Astra G 1.4i - HFSI-2.1 Clone

1
Hello,

A costumer bought a second-handed HFSI-2.1 ECU for his 2003 Astra G 1.4i, and asked me to clone the old ECU to this new one.
However, the old ECU is version DNZZ and the new one is DNHL.

I cloned other HFSI-2.1 in the past only with CARPROG by OBD, but both ECUs were the same version. I just read all info from the old, wrote 16bit-sync data, wrote VIN, and wrote Memory dump and it worked just fine.

In this case, with both ECUs being different versions, is it possible to do it this way? Or do I need to read and write flash too?
I also heard I must use OP-COM to sync immobilizer and other things.

I would be grateful If you could help me with this.
Thanks a lot.

Read PIN from both and use Op-Com to replace.

Eeprom clone via carprog
Flash program via Globaltis

Done plenty this way without any issues

No matter any 4 char alpha codes, it needs just to be 2.1
