Opel Corsa D- ABS module error:C0551

Hello!

Can someone please help me with this problem: C0551 Wrong Variant Configuration Programmed,
I've replaced a faulty ABS module on a Corsa D 2007 with a used one (same number,same series).
Coded the VIN's car on the new ABS module (with opcom) same thing...
I did a reset on BCM , ECM , reprogrammed....and again, no luck!

You need to program variant configuration, like the fault code says. Tech2 / mdi job only. Could be that it is not only ABS but also ESP and during the programming process, you will be required to start the engine.

An older car, but maybe the same procedure!

I've the same issue: ABS error c0551 on an Opel Corsa D 2010.
There is no "variant coding" option in the Tech2; has anyone founded a solution?

Just had a corsa D with the same error, indeed, tech2win does not give you the option to program anything major, so the solution is the following:

C0551 solution perform ESP SPS programming.

Fault code will dissapear, there is no other action needed.

I hope this helps somebody.

same issue here and tried with SPS but it tells us there is a newer software of unknown software viariant and so will no do it. Does it have to to with it coming from a diesel as a donor car while the car itself is a petrol? VIN is already programmed correctly
