Hi,
Customer brought me two dashboards for ASTRA H. Original is completely dead, and second is working. I know how to read PIN so I could adapt it to his car, but the problem is, car is quite a long way from me, so I was thinking that I could just swap eeproms ?
Is the EEPROM on those somehow married with MPC ? Can I just swap eeprom and car will start ? Or do I need to go to the car and make the proper unlock and programming with second cluster ?

It should work
I can provide wiring diagrams, parts number, technical service bulletins, part replacement procedures etc.. for Citroen/Opel. No pin code or key cut codes.

I swapped the eeprom, when I connected power on bench, I could see original mileage, so at least I think it should go smoothly. I'll know on Monday if it worked. I'll provide feedback when I hear from customer

Second cluster had slightly different number. Hardware inside was practically identical. Main difference was EEPROM, one had 080DW and second had M35080VP. But I just swapped them and car is working fine. Customer called and told me that it fired up on the first try, everything is working like it should
