Swapped Navi 600 to 2DIN Kenwood + CD400 display -> CD400 display black

1
Hey guys,

I have just replaced my my original Navi 600 with a 2DIN Kenwood DMX5020DABS device on a 2012 Astra J Sportstourer.

For the swap I used the following parts:
- used CD400 Display (only display, not whole unit) - not "divorced" from the sellers car
- Connects2 CANBUS interface 43uvx01
- New frame to fit the Kenwood and CD400 screen to the dashboard

From technical point of view, everything is working fine with the interface (all car settings are shown and working as expected on the Kenwood device).

But unfortunately, the CD400 display remains black.
As the original plug for the Navi600 and CD400 screen is identical, I have assumed that at least a logo could be shown on the screen. Best case would be displayingf time, tempature and so on.

I guess (but thats only my unproven thinking process) the problem is that my car still thinkgs that the Navi 600 is installed and therefore the wrong information is sent to the CD400 screen.

I played around with Opcom (bulgarian device) a bit but couln´t find any relevant settings.

So my question is, what needs to be done to make the CD400 screen work?
Can anybody advise me was to do?

Some further information (not sure if it matters, but for the sake of completeness):
- Navi 600 was patched to Navi 900
- DAB+ was installed afterwards and programmed to Navi 600 by Opel with VCI code

Side quest:
My board computer is now in English language (instead of German).
I unlocked the language selection on the board computer, but only English and French is selectable. Within the 43uvx01 interface everything (interface and car setting) is set to German.
Any chance to change it back to German again?

Thanks in advance
