Tech2 Candi Problem Wont Find it

hi there people I have a problem with my Tech2 Candi module it will not connect to the Tech 2 keep getting this error up on the screen

The Candi Module is CAN Communication Module if CAN problem in Car with say dead PCM will display same check if green led flashing can also do self test in Tech2 main menu . Cheers

thanks for reply mate but I can't do a self test as I still get the same screen I have a clone Candi module and that works fine in the vehicle

thanks for reply mate but I can't do a self test as I still get the same screen I have a clone Candi module and that works fine in the vehicle

So is Tech2 clone or Candi ether way some china stuff rubbish don't expect to much from clone

No the Tech2 is genuine and the Candi that does not work is genuine but that Dosent work but my clone Candi works with the tech2 so what is wrong with the genuine Candi

yes mate the green light comes on 

80% - bad cable of candi ( long one , to obd plug ) , you can change it for test from good tool.

yes mate the green light comes on 

Just adding some info for those that are checking...if the green light is flashing, the Candi Module is probably ok. It 'could' be a cable fault, so you can take the module apart and simply do some continuity testing. If the green light is on 'steady' -- the Candi module has a fault. 
Mine has been not working for almost a year...finally took the time to sort it out. If the Candi Module passes the built in tests that you can run from the TECH2 -- the module is more than likely ok.
Do the loop back tests on the PCB and the VCI module, from the Tech2 'self tests'...you'll need the loopback connector that plugs into the VCI module directly, not the loopback connectors for the ethernet connection. The "loop back connector" #3000109 replaces the cable that would normally plug into the VCI. Run the tests.

My VCI module was failing the internal voltage tests -- so, I thought--I've got nothing to lose. I'll take it apart and check the circuit board.
It was a little 'daunting', but I could see a burnt "43s" diode, replaced it--and all is well again.
