Tecnotest Stargas 898 / Reflex keygen/password

Hi all



I have a Tecnotest Stargas 898 emissions tester it is a 2005 model. It was made by Tecnotest in Italy who were owned by SPX Service Solutions. Bosch bought them in 2012 and now there is no support anymore.



My model needs a new calibration, the calibration setting is locked by a password. Does anyone have the service document that contains the code? Or a keygen?





It uses renesas H8S processor 64F2357 so maybe I could dump the code somehow.





<EDIT>: I have now found flash update SW for Relfex and Stargas and passwords for Stargas. See notes below.

Please explain, how make this updates.
Need to update the PCMCIA card, and separately the base software via RS232 COM1 serial cable connected to PC ?
After updates doesn't need password ?
I wish to set date and time.

There are two files in links above that produce the flash update SW. "EKd-AuEobd.exe" and "280-Star.exe". They are WinXP self extracting zips. Run them in WinXP environment (emulated under Win7 didn't work). I do not know the difference of them yet.

These are just original Tecnotest update files not patch/crack files. But you get all the data so maybe some fun with decompiler :-)



They will create an EXE called MakeApp.exe and a bunch of files. MakeApp.exe is used to build a PCMCIA card with the SW update it can also be used for serial update. The base code seems to be the same for both Stargas and Reflex.




Standard password for many menus is "tec" / "TEC"

hey guys, i have this machine and been looking for some support on it for a very long time. i'm very interested to see if it is possible to enable the scope feature? I have the Visa Planet CD which I bought from Bosch here but its missing some pin to make changes on the machine, There was also a USB key included.
