X431 - XPROG 3 - FORD BCM

Hi all. 

Looking into buying a new X431 pro 3s v5 and XPROG 3. 

I have U3000 and no working headlights on an Ford Ranger BCM. 

Question, will I be able to extract Dflash with this tool? Or do I need other equipment? 

Also if someone suggest other tool instead of the X431 in around that price range please let me know. I need a new tablet for the workshop so find it convenient to have all in one tool if possible.

I solved that one with vvdi prog long time ago than later bought multiprog and xprog3 but havent tested still.........anyhow upa and xprog box was unable to determine mcu type which was 9s12xep768 as far as i remember the mcu was not locked i read thru bdm port at the corner on pcb with 4 wires only.....5v , gnd, reset and bdm
