(w211) surround light coding

1
Hello i have a question
is there somebody who knows how to have the surround lights in the mirror to stay on for a longer time or continously on with headlight
since i want them to stay on instead of them going out with the interior lights

interior llumination delayed switch-off is set to 20sec then the surround lights also going out in 20sec instead of the headlight  delayed switch-off wich is set to 45seconds

is there anyway to code the surround lights so that they stay on with the headlight delayed switch-off instead of the interior switch-off

or

is it possible to code with vediamo or xentry that the delayed switch off time for the interior light can be set higher instead of 20sec wich now is the max to lest say also 45 seconds

i hope to get some information because its really annoying me

thanks in advance

I doubt you can configure them in software to stay on permanently, it makes no sense and may even be illegal, regarding the duration of the timer...Tomorrow I will try to see if there is any option to increase that time.

yeah for me in the netherlands with the periodic MOT inspection here it is no problem but its not necessary to have them always on

if they can keep on longer or with the headlights switch-off instead of the interior switch off i am already very satisfied thank you for youre very fast response and i will wait for tomorrow iam very excited thanks

You should be able to set it up to 60 seconds, but perhaps (we'll have to try it) it can be increased more.

Connect the car, give me remote access and we'll look at it together.

If you can solve it, we can see the available options, in principle the IC itself should let you configure it for up to 60 seconds, but I think we could modify it for longer, for this you have to work on the vehicle.
