xprog cant read x24c01

hello everyone
my xprog v5.o don't have option to read x24c01....
i mean in xicor option there is only x24c02 but no x24c01 can anyone help me please if there is newer software or what i can do

Try it as 24c02, it should read a 256k file with the last 128k empty
Make your changes in the top half, and try to write the "256k" file into the 24c01

Only the start 128k will be recorded.

You could also try to read it as any other 128k serial eep, pinouts and programming is often very similar between manufacturers.

it can read,but it fail to write,with wrong acknowledgement error

OK, try as other manufacturers, Atmel 24c01A, Microchip 24xx01 etc

Not only the menu absence from Xprog but algo for x24C01 differs from 24C01 too. This document should help to understand them more.

@ivannzowa for sure you need another right programmer, UPA does it!
