Hello, can someone help me with egr off in this file ?

Thanks.
if you turn egr off, dpf on car will fail very soon
why DPF will fail when doing egr off?
Better is both DPF + EGR OFF or clean/replace EGR + clean DPF.

Soon we had car with EGR error, cleaned , replaced with new EGR ... the same problem.

After that we removed and washed DPF ... then all was good ... no more errors for EGR ... strange.
Yeah, this is strange. I also encountered some problems with the DPF after egr-off. But basically, this does not make sense....can anybody explain, what is the problem with EGR-off on PCR2.1?

youre joking right?

turn egr off = more soot go through exhaust and not engine

in turn this clog up dpf filter.....

simple i thought?
DPF die after EGR OFF because this egine equipped with "Exhaust gas recirculation, OXIDATION CATALYTIC CONVERTER and diesel particulate filter"
The diesel oxidation catalyst is designed to oxidize carbon monoxide, gas phase hydrocarbons, and the SOF fraction of diesel particulate matter to CO2 and H2O.
The exhaust gas recirculation helps reduce nitrogen oxide emissions and when is EGR switched off Catalytic converter clogged, and after this clogs the DPF which is located after Catalytic converter.
