Hi friends

I have a Renault Mégane 2, 1.5 DCI, 2004.
It has problem with immo, sometimes it appears the following message in the dashboard: immo fault.
I have already tried with the other card and it's the same.
After a few tries, it works.
The cards open and close the car Ok.

Is it possible immo off to solve the problem?

Ecu Delphi DDCR N3

you need to make diagnose with CLIP,,,and post resultsRauch15
Cards broken, common issue for Renos. Antenna immo - different from antenna open/close doors - is broken for both cards and fixing that is quite difficult. Search on youtube you find guys who try and some of them succeed !
Hi

For Megane 2 from 2004 - Immo system : ECU + ESL + UCH (BCM) + CARD READER + CARD.
a Blocked ESL no starting - Defective Card no starting - Defective card reader no starting and so on

Agreed with fishingman, diagnose with Can clip to obtain more data
in UCH you can see a lot of data about Immo - check if UCH receive data from the card and if it is a valid card

Best Regards
Sorry for my bad english , i'm a french guy
if it was a card or card reader fault it would display card not detected. most likely your fault will be in the wiring loom. communicate via diagnostic check you have comms with engine ecu and uch. in uch live data check it sees the card and start is enabled then in engine ecu check if it is locked or unlocked. my guess is the signal from the uch to engine ecu is not being received either because engine ecu is not powering or the can lines are down.

the esl is another common fault i have replaced a few of these ... sometimes the steering lock jams and if you remove it so the bolt can move freely the car will start

if none of the above works or you have other things misbehaving like windscreen wipers, indicators, central locking, or lights not working correctly its highly likely to be a faulty uch.
Hi friends

Today I rode a few miles with the car and it didn't happened.

I've make a UCH diagnose by clip it appeared the following fault:

DF022 - central antenna indoor circuit.

Where is this antenna?

Today I've noticed that every time I open/close the car, the third stop light turns on.

Best regards

Pinheiro
the antenna in the door is for the proximity side of the key (not having to put the card in the slot for starting and not having to press the open button on the card to open the car) if this was your problem you would get card not detected when you try to start the car.

you say you have driven a few miles today and it didnt happen ???

an immobiliser is only a challenge at ignition on so the car will either start or not start... it will never cut a vehicle out once it is running.

if you car cuts out once running you do not have an immobiliser problem.

i agree with him once started it wont stop.. have you checked the card reader? they fail all the time on these
