RE: MEVD1728 - Stiffmaster - 09-17-2017 I think he can't read pw, because somebody else changed pw in flash? You think some Tuner went so far and changed Boot PW? Sounds interesting. and very mad ^^ RE: MEVD1728 - @batterypack@ - 09-17-2017 more than likely had a software update ? some dme can not be read , dme 8 on some bmw's too RE: MEVD1728 - Stiffmaster - 09-17-2017 There is Boot PW, that can't be changed and copy in flash. Tools get PW from flash, that's changeable. If somebody change this pw, no tool can read it (at least not CMD and x17). That's my experience on MEVD17.2.x Ecu's. If it's not already modified, go and find good and genuine tool ![]() RE: MEVD1728 - acmotor - 09-17-2017 (09-17-2017, 01:24 AM)Poll_Smith Wrote:(09-17-2017, 01:20 AM)temsky740 Wrote:(09-17-2017, 01:08 AM)Poll_Smith Wrote: Help change the password in the DME BOSH MEVD 1728 What year ?
