I can not read DME because it changed the password. I tried to read the original KTag

more than likely had a software update ? some dme can not be read , dme 8 on some bmw's too

There is Boot PW, that can't be changed and copy in flash. Tools get PW from flash, that's changeable.
If somebody change this pw, no tool can read it (at least not CMD and x17). That's my experience on MEVD17.2.x Ecu's.
If it's not already modified, go and find good and genuine tool

What year ? Model ? how you read with Ktag ? i never have problem reading with Ktag, unless you spoil ECU while open it ...
