Online programming error with Xentry 2019-12 - apexi - 11-20-2019
Hello dear mhhauto.com colleagues
For few last days I am having problems with programming online via latest Xentry on all modules.
Error is attached.
SCN coding goes fine. It's just the programing of control units - it find's new software for it, but when you aggree to update the module it then throws this error.
All add-ons in the manager installed and up to date. Device C4 SDconnect clone.
Successfully programmed a car on DAS, but on xentry few cars and same result.
Can someone advise?

Did you install the front Sam with correct part number?

Yes. But the same error comes even when I go to update door module, it is not just SAM

And you have also correctly configured the RDS (Retail Data Strorage) -> ConfigAssist?
Xentry Update Service is also working?

I would say no. In configassist i don't see the Update Service. I remember it was available in ConfigAssist though when I installed 2019/09 previously.
The Xentry 2019/12 is installed and activated with this community's help.
Any directions how should I enable it?

Yes, I have experienced the same error, on numerous machines. I also notice that in 12/2019 there is nowhere to configure the Xentry update service and retail data storage. It is missing from the config assist. If I use an earlier config assist to make my settings I get past this error, but then get another data storage error RDS_0003.
It does not even try to find the software on the laptop.

Hm but if everyone would have this issue it would be quite massive. Hellooooo, does nobody else have same problems programming online with the latest version?

Well I have seen it on 3 machines, all addons installed. Does anyone know where in 12/19 to configure the retail data storage? It does not appear in the config assist.
12/2019 is not available for general release yet, so few people have it.
