Does TSA / SLA Both need navigation? - totu1111 - 07-08-2020

Hi guys,
i am looking for programming TSA or SLA to my w205. My Comand system has navigation option, however, i live in a country that does not have Garmin map.

My question is, will it work if if i code it? What i want is, read speed limit sings and show them in Instrument cluster.

So, is there any option to work like i said? Or not?

Dear, i do know that. What i want to know is, there is no navigation aviable to my region. If i activate it, will it work? I have checkedwith Dts yesterday and in TSA option menu of MMPC ( i have lane keeping assist), there are only different countries. My country is not on that list. So, should i activate it? I mean, will it work?

SLA coding is in cluster, I can't see why it wouldn't work in cluster only... doesn't you need coding in HU if you want display there too? I have SLA only in cluster.

Well, i only want it to show in IC. But in MMPC, there is only TSA option and when i choose, it shows me different country names with TSA High. If i choose TSA high Germany, then code Eis and IC, will it work fine?

You need at least Garmin!! COMAND is not necessary.

The car must know, where you are. So, it can choose the right country coding for TSA, when you are driving.
