Good companions. I would like to know if someone was able to update an ecu simos 18.1 ref 5G0906259 to a 5G0906259C with odis. loading the .frf. The ref of hw is the same in both. But I don't know if it would be necessary to parameterize in odis .... thank you !!!

i was trying it but its also required to update DSG(because my appears to be an old revision) and tried a lot of DSG SW versions.
ECU was succesfull comunicating with the TCU but i had problems with gear changes in higher gears and RPM (DSG stopped working during drive, needed to restart engine).
I think there is a special modified version needed for my TCU to work with the C index.
My TCU:
Part No SW: 0D9 300 020 B HW: 02E 927 770 AN
Component: DQ250-6F MQB H52 4008
Revision: 05652104
Drivers Door control unit had no connection to the ECU, but all worked.(Maybe it can be replaced with a newer one, because Update with ODIS/VCP dont worked).
