Hi mates, hope all's good

So got with me a BMW ME17.2.1, dead ECU - water damage, now got a replacement MEV17.2.1(My own control unit) but there is difference between hardware, the MEV17.2.1 has more components compared to the ME17.2.1, around 8 or so more components as labelled in the image below, now old one got ISN from CAS but I'm skeptical it would work, since MPC would have different micro, and maps - maps can be editable but not micro since OTP, nevertheless, has anyone succeeded in interchanging the 2 ? If so, how'd you go about it ? Thanks in advance
